This Conversation Will Help You…

  2. Say what kinds of values they want to share with a partner
  3. Say what kinds of activities and dates they would like to share with a partner

Think About This First

    •  This conversations gives you the opportunity to discuss values that go into choosing relationships, and also allows for thoughtfulness around what kind of partner they might want to have.

    Having the Conversation

    Start here:

What kind of person do you want to date?

What kind of personality do you want them to have?

What kind of things are really important for you to have in a partner?

Is it important for you to date someone you were already friends with?

      Continue:

What kinds of values do you want your partner to share with you?

What kinds of things is it not as important to agree on?

What are ways that you learn about someone’s personality and values?

      Keep Talking:

What would a perfect weekend date be?

If your partner was going to surprise you with a date, what would be included?

What things would you want to introduce your partner to?

What things would you want them to introduce you to?
